Event: Regional Advocate Day for Training (RAD) - Southeastern Regional

Date: Friday, 10-13-2017 at 10:00 AM to Friday, 10-13-2017 at 3:00 PM

Regional Advocates Days for Training or "RADs" are opportunities for advocates from End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin member programs to take a day to learn, both from the scheduled presenters and from one another. RADs are held throughout the year and regionally, so a day for professional education can happen closer to home.

There are five Regional Advocate Days for Training annually. End Domestic Abuse WI plans them in collaboration with local advocates in each Wisconsin region (western, northern, northeastern, southeastern, and southern).  Every training takes place from 10am to 3pm, and includes a large group training in the morning and smaller breakout sessions in the afternoon.

Location: Sojourner Family Peace Center, Milwaukee

Registration information will be available here in the coming weeks.

Support our work.
Support safe families.

We envision communities fully engaged to provide safety and to give a voice to all affected by domestic abuse, while creating the social change necessary to address its root causes. We honor the wisdom and strength of domestic abuse survivors across the lifespan. Our mission is achievable through survivor-centered work that includes strategic partnerships and collaboration. As advocates for social justice, we embrace the voices of diverse communities.
