Wisconsin Batterer’s Treatment Providers Association

The Wisconsin Batterers Treatment Provider Association (WBTPA) was formed to oversee the ongoing development and implementation of the State of Wisconsin Male Batterers Treatment Standards. Certain components of the WBTPA's administration are supported by End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin.

Membership Applications

Local batterers’ treatment providers are eligible to join the WBTPA as Individual Members. The membership year runs May 1 - April 30. 


For questions concerning the status of submitted applications, please contact the Membership Chair (see Steering Committee members listed below).

To Submit an Application:

1. Click on the links to the forms under either Initial Application or Renewal Application below, depending upon your previous membership status.

Initial Application:

The below WBTPA Initial Application and the WBTPA Treatment Provider Requirements Checklist should be submitted for prospective WBTPA members who are applying for their first membership, or if there has been a lapse in time since their last WBTPA membership. First time applicants may apply at any time throughout the year, but please note that membership dues still run May 1-April 30 and are not prorated.

Renewal Application:

Current WBTPA members will receive an email notice to renew your membership in April. At that point, renewing members need to submit the below WBTPA  Renewal Application and the WBTPA Treatment Provider Requirements Checklist. This application is used by WBTPA members who have maintained their provider status without any time lapse in membership. All renewal applications and payments MUST be received by June 30.

2. In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, click the downward facing arrow to download the form. Save it to your computer/device.


3. Fill out the forms, and save them again.


4. Attach the filled out forms to an email and send, along with your scanned proof of CEUs, to

5. Submit payment (see Payment section below).

If your application is approved for membership, your name, batterers’ treatment program name, and your office contact information will be available on the WBTPA Listing Directory at the top of this page.


Select Membership Type (see Dues Structure section below for more info) from the drop-down list in the pop-up box & click "Add to Cart" to be brought to Paypal. All online payments will receive a receipt via email.


Dues Structure


All dues are renewable annually. WBTPA exists in partnership with End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin; membership with End Domestic Abuse WI is required of all WBTPA members. The listed fees automatically include End Domestic Abuse WI Individual Membership.


Option 1: $85: WBTPA Individual Membership


Option 2: $45: WBTPA Individual Membership: Staff at Organizational Member Program OR Survivor/Financial Hardship


 If you are on staff at one of End Domestic Abuse WI’s Organizational Member programs*, you are required to pay only $45 for membership. 


*Only organizations/programs that provide direct services to victims of domestic violence and their children are eligible for an End Domestic Abuse WI Organizational membership. If your organization's membership has lapsed, to receive the End Domestic Abuse WI Organizational Member reduced fee, first be sure that your Organizational Membership is updated. 


 End Abuse prioritizes accessibility and appreciates the barriers faced by survivors and those experiencing financial hardship. If you are a survivor of domestic violence, or if you are currently experiencing financial hardship, you are required to pay only $45 for membership.


Online submission of payments is strongly preferred. If you are unable to provide payment online, please submit this WBTPA Payment Form with your check payment to the address listed below. Checks should be written out to End Domestic Abuse WI. Receipts for check payments will be sent out when payment is processed.

Male Batterers Treatment Standards

These standards have been developed in collaboration with the membership of WBTPA and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and have been endorsed by the Wisconsin Governor’s Council on Domestic Abuse
