Restraining Orders in 2014: Current and Pending Changes
When:Monday, January 13 from 1:00-2:00 PM
This webinar will focus on changes that will occur early in 2014, which include: when a petitioner must file a UCCJEA affidavit; changes in restraining order petitions and injunctions; the addition of stalking as a basis to obtain a domestic abuse restraining order and other statutory changes.
This webinar is part of a monthly series for staff of domestic violence programs. On the second Monday of each month, End Abuse Legal staff Tess Meuer or Morgan Young will highlight a current legal issue or trend for advocates around the state. Time will be reserved at the end of the hour for participants to ask questions about the current topic--or any legal topic--of concern to victim advocates. These sessions will be either a webinar or a conference call.

Registration is limited to 25 participants, but the recorded webinar will be available on the End Abuse website.
