TESS Talks: Firearms Surrender Procedures Effective November 1, 2014
When:October 20, 2014 from 1-2 PM
Where:At your desk
Implementation of new firearms surrender procedures will begin soon! Join Director of Justice Systems Tess Meuer for this month's legal technical assistance discussion about what to expect. This is the only training End Abuse will provide on the new firearms surrender procedures prior to their implementation on November 1, 2014.
While this presentation was offered at the legal advocacy training on August 6, it will not be part of the Restraining Order training on November 5. All advocates who will assist with restraining orders—including those attending the November 5 training—are encouraged to attend. There will be question and answer time at the end of the hour on this, or any legal topic, of concern to victim advocates.
Every month in 2014, End Abuse legal staff Tess Meuer or Morgan Young have highlighted a current legal issue or trend for advocates in WI. We welcome you on one Monday of every month for TESS Talks: legal information worth sharing or Mondays with Morgan.
