LIFE SKILLS COORDINATOR
The Life Skills Coordinator will oversee the daily activities of support group, life skills and empowerment programming for Sojourner Family Peace Center, as well as provide direct client support and services for victims of domestic violence. This position will assist in the development and implementation of program activities and support community education programming, as well as oversee high quality data and outcomes reporting. Additional responsibilities of the Life Skills Coordinator may include training new staff and volunteers, ensure compliance of grant funding requirements and perform group/individual facilitation and intake activities as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a job related major and three to five years of related experience; or two years of college with job related coursework and six to eight years of professional experience in advocacy, case management, or related field; or a combination of education and experience. Prior experience with curriculum development and/or group facilitation preferred. Knowledge of the domestic violence victim advocacy service system through direct work experience preferred. Bilingual (English and another language) is preferred.
