Join Tegan Swanson, Systems Change Coordinator, and Kelsey Mullins, Staff Attorney – Underserved Populations from End Abuse with Jen Adler, Initial CPS Supervisor – Waukesha County for this training.
We will cover the stages of a CPS case, how a survivor might encounter CPS, considerations for assessing children’s safety when domestic violence is suspected, and resources for supporting families who experience both domestic violence and child welfare system involvement.
You will have the opportunity to discuss case scenarios with other attendees.
Finally, this training will provide ideas for improving collaboration between domestic violence advocates and child welfare professionals.
The cost for nonmembers is $50, due at registration.
