Teen Summit Overview | The Teen Summit is End Abuse’s largest training, developed by and for young people. It brings together youth, parents, educators, activists, and mentors from across Wisconsin and the surrounding area to learn about individual and community healing, anti-violence work centering those most impacted, and imagining violence-free futures. With keynotes Alora Young, Kwnwahta Smith, Prenicia Clifton, and Aisha Fukushima in 2023 Teen Summit theme is ‘rEVOLutionary ACTS’.
Who Should Attend? | The event will host ~700 people with the shared goal of preventing violence. Adult mentors and advocates who work with or support teens are encouraged to attend; this includes parents, caregivers, teachers and school personnel, and those involved with sexual assault and domestic violence programs, tribal programs, runaway programs, and youth-serving organizations.
Safety Note | We will be monitoring COVID-19 outbreaks and variants and make changes as needed. Stay up-to-date by following us on Facebook (@TeenSummitWI) or on our website www.endabusewi.org/events/teen-summit

Important Documents
Read and understand these documents before participating in the annual, statewide 2024 Teen Summit. The documents are split up into 3 categories: for youth, for everyone, and for adults. We’ve created these documents to have a baseline of shared understanding of everyone’s expectations while at the Teen Summit and to mitigate as many barriers as possible for participants to attend.
FOR YOUTH
COMING SOON _ 2024 Excused Absence Form– This form can be used to ensure students have informed their school of their absence from classes during the Teen Summit.
FOR EVERYONE
Teen Summit Norms – The ways we agree to be with each other while at the Teen Summit. The norms are also ways to make sure that we are holding each other accountable for our actions to make a safe and brave space for everyone. Everyone should be familiar with the Teen Summit norms if they are attending the Teen Summit.
COVID Mitigation Protocols & Expectations – This is how the event staff plan to mitigate and prevent the spread of COVID-19. It will be an expectation that ALL participants attending the annual, statewide 2023 Teen Summit to follow the protocols to keep everyone attending safe while attending event spaces.
KN95 Masks will be given out each day at the event. Masks MUST be worn in all Teen Summit event spaces.
We are strongly encouraging all participants to test before getting into vehicles together. If 1 person tests positive in a vehicle together, NO ONE from that vehicle is allowed to enter the Kalahari Resorts.
If you test before the Teen Summit, you must have a photo of the negative test for each person.
Rapid tests are available on sight for those unable to test beforehand.

2021 was our first-ever completely virtual, completely FREE Teen Summit. This was a celebration of our many successes, as well as a time to revive and strengthen ourselves and our movement. We welcomed attendees to challenge preconceived notions on how to deal with these issues and learn new strategies for successful prevention and education on teen issues.
