Human Trafficking in WI: Overview, Resources, & Listening Session

Join this listening session for a brief overview of human trafficking in Wisconsin, statewide and national initiatives, and to share your experiences, challenges, and needs for assisting victims of human trafficking, with a focus on the needs of Native American victims and communities. Speakers include Denise Johnson from American Indians Against Abuse, Shira Phelps from Wisconsin DOJ Office of Crime Victim Services, Jaymee Bird and Joshua Schuyler from the OVC Human Trafficking Capacity Building Center, and Joshua Beaton from the UMOS Wisconsin Regional Anti-Trafficking Program.

Register to join the discussion by June 8. Registrants will receive a Zoom link and may connect by phone or computer audio. Resources and materials will be provided.  This session is designed for WI advocates who work with trafficking or domestic abuse victims.
