We’re excited to share an upcoming training opportunity hosted by Alaafia and in collaboration with End Abuse and WCASA, during Sickle Cell Awareness Month.
This session will focus on the intersection of sickle cell disease, and sexual/domestic violence, dating violence, harassment and caregiver abuse, offering insights and tools for advocates, providers, and community members.
This training is a chance to deepen our understanding of how health, caregiving, and violence intersect, and how we can better support survivors and communities impacted by these overlapping issues.
