Waking Women Healing Institute, Bad River Zhawenindig Program, and End Abuse welcome you. Join us as we center tribal and rural advocacy, safety planning, and resistance to the ongoing destructive harm caused by the Enbridge Line 5 pipeline. The line 5 pipeline is expected to move through thousands of acres of Indigenous Lands, waterways, and homes to many living beings.
We will gather on September 2, 9am-3:45pm; and on September 3, 9am-4pm. We will allow generous breaks each day in between sessions.
Highlights:
Intersections of land and body violence – ways to heal, prevent and respond.
Learn about the pipeline and its impact including sexual violence and man camps near tribal communities.
Ways to come together as co-conspirators to protect against ongoing harm from pipeline construction.
Register now! You’ll receive a welcome packet in the mail – register EARLY at 2026 Northern Training Registration for the best chance of receiving items before the event!
