Join Jeni Haddad (Family Support Center), Kari Niesen-LaScala, and Gricel Santiago-Rivera (End Abuse) for an introduction to Basic Restraining Orders in Wisconsin. This nuts-and-bolts training will introduce advocates to the restraining order process, role of the advocate, and how to assist survivors in filing.
We will include larger group discussions and break out rooms to focus on better supporting survivors in drafting statements. By the end of the training participants should be able to assist a survivor with filing a restraining order.
This training will be repeated on September 27.
