Supporting Survivors Across Nations: Indigenous Law + Tribal Courts 101

This introductory training offers advocates a foundational overview of Indian Law focusing on information about tribal courts located in Wisconsin as recognized sovereign legal systems, including better understanding of “full faith and credit.” Participants will learn how to better support indigenous survivors navigating complex layers of jurisdiction and deepen support of these survivors through resources provided along with training.
