Join advocates and survivors from across Wisconsin in this free, virtual event hosted by the Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault and End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin to advocate with elected officials on issues that are critical to the safety and empowerment of survivors. Together, we will discuss key policy issues related to sexual assault and domestic abuse, hear from legislators in a panel-discussion format, and learn how to effectively advocate with policy-makers while prioritizing safety duringCOVID-19. Participants will then speak with their elected representatives during pre-scheduled meetings, taking direct action to influence policy change. We encourage participation from interested survivors as we provide a supportive environment for direct legislative advocacy.
