Shelter Advocate – Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS)
Full Time – 1st & 2nd Shift Monday-Friday
Part Time – Overnight & Weekends
Starts at $16.00 per hour, $0.75 additional shift differential for overnight shifts
Provide comfort, support and resources for residents and their children in our emergency domestic violence shelter. Build community within our agency by modeling positive, nurturing interactions. Who are we looking for?
•High school, or equivalent, graduates.
•Prefer two years of experience working with trauma survivors
.•Experience in a residential setting and crisis intervention is also preferred.
•Knowledge of domestic violence issues and bilingual abilities are beneficial.
