Teen Summit Overview | The annual Teen Summit is End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin’s largest training, bringing youth, parents, educators, activists, and mentors from all over Wisconsin to learn about healthy relationships, teen dating violence, and sexual assault within a larger anti-oppression framework. We include educational and enthusiastic plenary speakers, youth-led workshops as well as topic-related performances.
Who Should Attend? | The event will host ~300 people with the shared goal of preventing violence. Adult mentors and advocates who work with or support teens are encouraged to attend; this includes parents, caregivers, teachers and school personnel, and those involved with sexual assault and domestic violence programs, tribal programs, runaway programs, and youth-serving organizations.
Safety Note | We monitor COVID-19 outbreaks and variants and make changes as needed. We may require attendees to wear KN95 masks (they will be provide) along with proof of vaccinations status and/or a negative COVID-19 test result that is taken within 48 hours of the event.

Important Documents
Read and understand these documents before participating in the annual, statewide Teen Summit. The documents are split up into 3 categories: for youth, for everyone, and for adults. We’ve created these documents to have a baseline of shared understanding of everyone’s expectations while at the Teen Summit and to mitigate as many barriers as possible for participants to attend.
FOR YOUTH
2026 Teen Summit Excused Absence Letter | This form can be used to ensure students have informed their school of their absence from classes during the Teen Summit.
FOR EVERYONE
Teen Summit Norms| The ways we agree to be with each other while at the Teen Summit. The norms are also ways to make sure that we are holding each other accountable for our actions to make a safe and brave space for everyone. Everyone should be familiar with the Teen Summit norms if they are attending the Teen Summit.
FOR ADULTS
This toolkit is for adults that are bringing youth in a mentororchaperone capacity.
2026 Mentor-Chaperone Toolkit| To provide resources, tips, and tricks to be a fully engaged adult with the youth that you are bringing to the 2026 Teen Summit. The toolkit is broken up into three parts; before, during, and after the Teen Summit. This toolkit was created by chaperones/mentors that have attended the Teen Summit in the past, Teen Council adult members, Dare 2 Know partners, and End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin Staff.

2021 was our first-ever completely virtual, completely FREE Teen Summit. This was a celebration of our many successes, as well as a time to revive and strengthen ourselves and our movement. We welcomed attendees to challenge preconceived notions on how to deal with these issues and learn new strategies for successful prevention and education on teen issues.
